Our Teachers

  • Shari

Shari took her first yoga class in Orlando Florida in 2004, and it was one of the most challenging classes she had ever taken. After practicing every chance she had, Shari decided to do her 500 Hour Bikram Teacher Training in Spring of 2007. She taught most of the time in Orlando until moving back to Chicago in 2016 and joining the Rolling Meadows team. In 2017, Shari did her Inferno Hot Pilates Training and is certified in level 1 and 2 along with Pilates Reformer.

Shari loves to watch the effects Bikram Yoga and Inferno Hot Pilates can have on people. “When people make goals and finally reach them...that is my favorite part of being a teacher.”

  • Siobhan

  • Kayo

My first yoga class was in my bedroom via yoga app in 2017 which slowly transitioned into going to in person classes. Spiritual experience at a 2019 yoga retreat in Tulum Mexico led to serious yoga practicing to finally my RYT 200 certificate in Isla Mujeres Mexico in Nov 2023. I love how yoga is not just training the body but also strengths the mind and soul as well. Excited to be part of your yoga journey.

  • John

John began practicing yoga in 2016 and discovered his passion for Pilates in 2017 after taking Shari's HIIT class. Since then, he has maintained a consistent practice, attending classes two to three times each week. John enjoys the energy and motivation that come from working out in a group setting and is passionate about creating fresh, engaging workouts that keep every class challenging, fun, and accessible for participants of all fitness levels. His goal is to help clients build strength, and leave each class feeling energized and accomplished.

  • Ben

Ben enjoys spending time with family and hopes they feel the same way. With his limited free time, you will find him playing racquet sports (tennis, pickleball, ping pong, etc.) running (he does marathons to have a great time--not a great clock time), problem solving, and dissecting the English language (he considers himself a word nerd). He has an unrefined palate and will eat any food at least once. He loves all genres of music, movies, and books.

    Fun Fact:

OMG moment: Dancing to a Juvenile live performance (Slow Motion) while at a taping of Jenny Jones.

    Favorite Music Style:
Ben loves remixes and enjoys teaching to music in the 120 to 150 bpm range. He believes that music can improve performance, boost mood, and soothe the soul.

    Favorite Food:

    Anything his mom makes.

Outside of the studio, Ben is passionate about learning new skills and refining old ones. He is currently working with a vocal coach and piano teacher to expand physical and mental abilities.

When not in the Hot Room, you can find Ben biking, walking forest preserve trails, and enjoying the sights and sounds of nature and the wild life.

Currently exploring an opportunity to fulfill a life-long dream of being a backup dancer for a major recording artist.
